Sormeh Saei was born in Tehran on January 1983.
The first chapter of her life was a childhood influenced by the highly emotional turmoils of the post revolutionary days.
At age 10, Sormeh moved to New York with her family & started the second chapter of her life in the Bronx.
She began painting at age 13 while attending the specialized school in Lincoln Center; Fiorello H. La Guardia Arts & performing Arts.
Saei's Paintings encapsulate a variety of subjects that are captured in a
delicate nature, all of which, are infused with abstract & pop Art.
In the recent years Sormeh spread her talent to new territories by starting to pursue her long love for Photography.
She is currently working with digital Photography but it won't be long until her journey extends to shooting with film.
Saei's artwork wether Painting or Photography,
is a reflection of her journey through life in a bi-cultural experience as a true Art.
Sormeh's undeniable love for Art is immediately felt by anyone who meets her . This passion is most certainly what fuels her.
